Troubleshooting

Find a missing colony, resolve a pending action, and recover unused session gas.

Troubleshooting illustration from Reimagined
PENDING ACTION?Check its transaction hash before retrying. Keep browser data intact so the game can recover the session.

My colony is missing

Check the selected wallet address and network in the lobby. Signing in with email or Google may select a different wallet from the external wallet you used before. Choose the address that owns the colony and let its lookup finish. The list of sign-in methods and how they map to wallets is in Supported sign-in and wallets.

A colony you created seconds ago can be missing from the first lookup while the chain index catches up; the lobby re-reads the chain directly, and Check again repeats the lookup.

Original and Reimagined share your mainnet colony; changing clients does not require paying entry again.

An action is pending or uncertain

Follow the transaction, then the game state
  1. 01Find the hash

Open the transaction from the pending action or wallet history.

  2. 02Check the receipt

Pending, successful, and reverted are different outcomes.

  3. 03Reconcile the game

For a successful receipt, allow the game to sync before sending the same action again.

A connection error alone does not establish whether a transaction succeeded or reverted.

Several game commands can be in flight at once; each shows its own confirmation. If one command stays pending, it is being re-checked automatically and nothing is resent. Check the existing transaction hash before retrying anything by hand. A request can reach the network even if the game loses the response. Repeating it may submit a second action.

If the client stays blocked, return to the lobby and check the session. Keep browser data intact while an action is pending: it contains the transaction recovery journal and any previous browser wallet key.

My wallet has ETH, but gameplay cannot pay gas

Two addresses. Two jobs.
  1. 01Playing wallet

Owns your colony. Receives ETH on Base for entry, setup, and session top-ups.

  2. 02Session account

Receives the gas deposit you choose. Signs game actions and pays their network fees.

  3. 03Account controls

Open Settings → Account to check gas, add funds, recover unused ETH, or manage access.

Copy the address for the account you intend to fund. The session deposit is separate from the entry fee; 0.001 ETH is a suggestion you can edit.

Open Gas & account settings in the lobby and check the session balance. Your playing wallet can hold ETH while the session wallet is empty. Add the amount you want to spend on gameplay gas; deposits are not automatic.

The ETH must be on Base mainnet to pay gameplay fees.

Can I recover unused session gas?

Choose Withdraw gas to playing wallet in the Session account dialog, or use the session controls in Settings > Account in the game. The session sends its usable balance back to your playing wallet, minus transfer fees.

Wait for pending game actions to finish first. If the balance is too small to cover the transfer fee, it cannot be withdrawn. Revoking session access does not withdraw its balance.

I am changing browsers or clearing site data

Shared gas is recovered by signing in to the same account. Its address and balance are shared between phone and PC. Finish pending actions before switching devices.

If the panel says Previous gas · this browser, withdraw its unused ETH or choose Export session key before clearing that browser profile. Keep the key private: it can spend the session's gas and perform its authorized game actions.

Your playing wallet still owns the colony. It cannot recreate a lost previous browser key. Revoke the old session's access when you no longer use it.

Gameplay uses your Privy-linked gas wallet on every device. Older browser wallets are available only for recovery and cannot override it. Updating the game does not transfer ETH between these addresses.

A build or training action is disabled

Check What to fix
Wrong colony Select an asteroid owned by your playing wallet
Main Base requirement Upgrade the Main Base to the stated level
Resources or utilities Supply the missing materials, electricity, or housing
Placement Fit the entire building on valid, empty tiles inside the unlocked area
Training building Use an active building that has unlocked the chosen unit
Colony Ship Check for a free colony slot and an existing Shipyard training order

A fleet cannot attack or transfer

Check arrival, orbit, cooldown, and stance. For an attack, also check the target's protection. For a transfer, check cargo and destination storage limits. Units still training cannot be loaded into a fleet.

My resources or units look out of date

After a transaction confirms, allow the game to refresh. Use the claim control if production or completed units have not been collected. A projected resource total and a stored balance can differ until that update.

The game says the session has no access or is out of calls

Session access is granted per game system with a large call allowance. If any system runs out, the lobby shows the session as not authorized; choose Authorize existing session (or Authorize and add gas) in the Session account dialog and your playing wallet signs a fresh authorization. Your colony and its buildings are not affected.

What should I include in a bug report?

Include the client, network, time, public wallet address, colony or fleet, attempted action, exact error, and transaction hash. Add a screenshot if it shows the problem.

Leave out private keys, seed phrases, exported session keys, and login codes.
